Opio Junior Paul is a young social innovator who tackled the problem of soil infertility and improper waste disposal, including food, animal remains, and non-recyclable plastics. Junior found a way to solve both issues by making organic fertilizers from recyclable waste using Black soldier flies. This innovation positively impacts the environment by addressing both climate and agricultural challenges.
